Woah, it's been almost a year...

Anyways, without a long introduction, I found a life beyond work again and decided that I should start drawing. Again. Let's hope I stick to it this time. So here's a WIP with bg colors for a CgHub challenge, dr. Lovett. A paranormal investigator/ part time college professor. Cthulhu mythos is in question, hence the tentacles of doom (will add more tentacles of doom). Currently it looks like crap, but I hope I'll make it better. I hope.

Edit: progress...

Some new stuff...

Haven't done much drawing in the past year due to life being really hectic. To make up for that, I decided to give my blog a nifty makeover. Well, not that there's anything particularly nifty in choosing a new template, but I've also made a... Wait for it... A BANNER! XD

My first one, too. So, here's the bigger version of Boris Karloff (without the pencil) I've used for my banner, together with sketches of John Frusciante and Aaron Funk done for my friend Iva, webmistress of Invisible Movement, a John Frusciante webpage. Visit it, it's a pretty awesome page. :)

Oh, and also... I GOT A TATTOO! XD It's Huginn and Munnin, Odin's ravens, they're on my shoulderblades. Here's the sketch I took to my tattoo artist.

June and July sketches

:)

A Ravnos and more practice

Some T-shirt work for European Championship Qualifier in V:TES. Her hair is everything but finished.

The rest is shading practice, hands, abs and boobs. ;)

Thomas Eakins - The artist's wife study

A mediocre study of an amazing portrait I fell in love with as soon as I saw it. :)

Sketch, sketch, practice, practice...

Oooh, I need an update. I suck, so here's some practice...

First of all, a gorgeous Swedish guy I found somewhere online and forgot to save where from. If you recognize yourself and I'm breaching copyright or something, let me know and I'll take it down.

And some hand studies and two figure studies...

And a color practice which should have turned out better but, as mentioned, I suck so it didn't...

And an Anubis head I drew for a friend.

Wha?

Another dark-and-gloomy one... I'm becoming boring with the ravens already :P

And now for some fun :)
